Channelized DS3

Is it possible to aggregate multiple T1 channels on a channelized DS3?

For example can I use mlppp to aggregate 3 T1s from Site A to a channelized DS3 at Site B?

Thanks!

Hi,

I'm pretty sure that is possible since each of the channels on the channelised DS3 results in a separate serial interface. Therefore, you should be able to include those serials in a MLPPP group.

Hope that helps - pls rate the post if it does.

According to the spec sheet of the PA-MC-T3 it is *not* supported...

"Aggregation of multiple T1 lines is not supported." Maybe I am misreading this or they are referring to something else? I hope so...

Rob,

I think what they mean by that is that you cannot create an interface that spans more than one T1. That would not be a reference to MLPPP, specifically..

Having said that, it's not something I've tried personally.
