Channelized T3 on one end, what do I need at the other end ? (leased line)

Hey all,

I am looking for some info regarding a project. We would have a 7000 series router with a 2- port channelized T3 SPA at the HQ and about 50+ locations will have to connect here via leased line.

Do I need a T1 card in each remote location ? Or will a 2Mbit serial interface be enough for the leased line ?

Thank you in advance,

Stefan

By a t1 card I assume you mean something like a wic-1dsu-t1.

You can use that or a external CSU/DSU attached to serial interfaces.

They are basically the same thing one is just in the router and the other is a extra box.
