Imagine the router below will be used strictly for SRST (via POTS or 4G wireless).
There is another CE MPLS router dedicated for data traffic. So if the CE goes down the hill, the router below takes over for SRST.
That said, can I get rid of the component in red below (SL-29-DATA-K9 ). Just want to double check.
Thanks!!!

For a simple SRST, you also don't need the DSP upgrade, the memory upgrade, and the security license neither.

Hey, but isn't the PVDM3-64 what can give me support for up to 64 phone users in the branch?
Reading the documentation I thought that if I keep PVDM3-16, the "16" means number of users supported. Isn't that right?
In my case I need to support up to 40 IP phone users in the branch via SRST. I will put 4 POTS line in the Cisco SRST 2911.

PVDM is not needed for IP phones.
Only needed for voice ports, transcoding, hardware conferencing.

Oh my Gosh, reading the below, that is where I concluded DSPs were needed for SRST.
Maybe I totally misinterpreted what is written below or this article needs to be corrected then.
Q. What are the supported Cisco IOS Software router platforms and network modules for Secure SRST?
A. Secure SRST is supported on the Cisco 2600XM, Cisco 2691 Multiservice Platform, Cisco 3725 and 3745 Multiservice Access Routers, Cisco 2801, 2811, 2821, 2851, 3825, and 3845 Integrated Services Routers, and the Cisco VG224 Analog Voice Gateway.
The SRST router needs digital signal processors (DSPs) for calls between the PSTN or analog phones and IP phones and for transcoding between different codecs. For Secure SRST, only the DSPs present on modules with the following part numbers are supported on Cisco ISRs:
• NM-HDV2
• NM-HD-1V/2V/2VE
• PVDM2
• EVM-HD
For Secure SRST, DSPs present on modules with the following part numbers are supported on Cisco ISR G2 routers:
• PVDM3
• NM-HDV2
