Cisco 12406 DWDM Connetivity Problem

Strange Scenario.

I have Two 12406 Routers with 1 GB Connection via a DWDM Network. Link shows UP/UP and i can see next Hop Neighbour via CDP but cannot ping across.

ISIS neighbour process also gets stuck in INIT stage.

Any one with suggestion as per what might be wrong? Is there any command i can run on the router to check the Line TX Status or BERT ?

Re: Cisco 12406 DWDM Connetivity Problem

Hello Gboyega,

what (line) cards or interfaces are you using to connect both 12406 routers with each other ? At first glance, make sure you do not have the TX and RX ends crossed, that is, TX should go to TX at the other end, and RX should go to RX...

Regards,

GNT
