I'm using 16mbps ADSL2+ line. When I use Zyxel ADSL modem itself connect to internet, I can get actual download speed at 16mbps. However if I connect Cisco 1700 bridge with Zyxel ADSL2+ modem. The internet works but I can get actual speed only at about almost 10mbps. Why is that? Is it a limitation of 1700 series router? or it is my configuration?

However, in my situation, I don't use WIC-ADSL as modem because WIC-ADSL doesn't support ADSL2+ speed, so I use Zyxel modem connect to fa0/0 of Cisco 1700 as WAN interface. The internet is working but speed is not.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
