Cisco 1751 router password recovery

Hi to all,

Can you please help me restore my cisco 1751 router to default settings. I enabled the "no service password-recovery" & now I forgot the enable password.

I've tried the procedure that cisco website provided but unfortunately I have no luck.

The CTRL-BREAK combination doesn't work on Hyperterminal. I found another way that states "press ctrl-break when Image text-based is decompressing.... but I cannot do this procedure because when my router boots up, there is no text displays. It will display the banner & asking for the password.

Please help me on this. I need to configure the router as soon as posible.

Set your Hyperterminal baud rate to 1200 and reboot the router. press the space bar while the router is booting.

Then change to hyperterminal to 9600 baud..

1200 baud and a space bar is the same as sendng a break...
