Cisco 1841 booting problem

I have Cisco 1841 which enable password is lost. So I went to Rommon mode & unfortunately enter wrong confreg value (0x1042). Its value should be 0x2142. Now it’s not booting in console. There is no IP configuring on serial & fastEthernet interfaces. Pls help to come out from it

When you set the config register to 0x1042 it has a couple of results which are impacting you. It sets a bit which intructs the router to ignore startup-config (NVRAM) which is why there are no IP addresses on interfaces. And it sets the console speed to 1200, which is why it looks to you like it is not booting.

The solution will be to set your terminal emulator (Hyperterm or whatever you use) to a console speed of 1200. If you are using Hyperterm you probably need to stop and re-start the connection when you make the speed change. The speed of 1200 should allow you to access the console and execute the password recovery procedure. While you are correcting the enable password you can change the config register back to its normal value of 0x2102. With the config register at normal value the next time that you boot the router it should return to a console speed of 9600.
