CISCO 1841 Configuration

Hi i have to configure a ILL of Bandwidth 512(1:4) so please help me on how to go about it.

The router is Cisco 1841 with one WIC.

What protocol should be used.

What WIC is it? 1841 supports only a few modules of WIC cars.

hi please help me in configuring a Cisco 1841 router with ILL.

This will be PPP connection and fo/0 of router will be connected to the firewall while the serial port will be terminating at ISP Modem.

I think this is simple PPP at serial port but i am still not clear on the Ethernet Port connected to Firewall.

Please help.

You just need to key in the ip adress provided by the SP to which you are getting connected..

interface serial 0/0

ip address x.x.x.x y.y.y.252

encapsulation ppp

About configuring your local lan totally depends on the ip addressing block being assigned by your SP.

If you are getting a public ip block for your local lan you can configure up the same onto your ethernet port which connects to your PIX firewall may be via a switch or through a cross cable..
