cisco 1841 with no service password-recovery

I use c1841 with IOS adventerprisek9-mz.124-15.T2.bin and try to configure with "no service password-recovery" command but I see only "no service password-encryption" command on the router.

I also check with Cisco Feature Navigator and there is service password-recovery feature support with this IOS that I mention.

I don' t know why I can not see this "no service password-recovery" command on my router.

Could you please help me and advice.

Thank you in advance

Regards,

porramed

Hi,

what about your ROMMON version?

See "You must download and install ROM monitor (ROMMON) version 12.2(11)YV1 before you can use this feature." here:

What for?  Even if you enable, I am still able to.
