Cisco 1921 sample working config for VDSL with a VA-DSL-A card?

The problem i'm running into is all the sample configs for this card i'm finding are for much older code, i need it for a 1921 with version 15.2(3)T.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Hi,

I believe you have an EHWIC-VA-DSL-A card installed on the C1921 device.

The sample configuration for the same would be as follows,

1. Configure the Controller,

controller VDSL 0/0/0

operating mode vdsl2

firmware filename flash:vdsl.bin-A2pv6C035j1

2. Configure the Ethernet interface & its sub-interface as follows,

interface Ethernet0/0/0

no ip address

l

interface Ethernet0/0/0.2

encapsulation dot1Q 2  ---------> Need to confirm the VLAN TAG ID from the ISP

pppoe enable group global

pppoe-client dial-pool-number 1

3. Configure the Dialer interface and as per you requirements, you can configure the Authentication, IP addressing etc.

interface Dialer1

ip address negotiated

ip nat outside

ip virtual-reassembly in

encapsulation ppp

load-interval 30

dialer pool 1

dialer-group 1

ppp authentication pap chap callin

ppp chap hostname _______

ppp chap password ________

ppp pap sent-username ______ password _______

Thank You for your example above, as I am currently trying to set this up as well.  One question though....does the ehwic-VA-dsl-A module come with software by default, or do you need the "firmware filename flash:vdsl.bin-A2pv6C035j1" command and the firmware for VDSL on the router?  Thanks.
