Dear All,
I've got an old 2600 router which username and password are missed and pwd recovery has been enabled...please how can I start with a clean configuration?

It looks like you have the "no password recovery" enabled on the router:

Do you mean you have the config-register configured not to allow break keys?
Or do you mean you have "no service config" enabled?

I suppose break keys not allowed

Like Ahmed I am not entirely certain what situation you are describing. Perhaps you can clarify. But here are a couple of suggestions that may help you get the issue resolved:
- if you can get into privilege mode on the router then issue the command erase startup-config followed by the command reload. This will start the router with an empty config.
- if you can not get into privilege mode on the router, then follow the password recovery procedure up to the point where you have set the config register to 0x2142 and reboot. At that point the router will have an empty config. Set the config register back to the normal 0x2102 and you have the router ready to go.

I can't enter any break keys and the following message appears:
PASSWORD RECOVERY FUNCTIONALITY IS DISABLED
