Cisco 2611XM performance issues

I am a newbe to troubleshooting performance issues on my Cisco 2611XM.  I did know enough to show the interface and I see errors. (See below)

Do I need to be concerned about input errors?  Those seem to be plentiful on both interfaces.  FA0/0 has 498 lost carriers? Could someone point me in the direction where to go from here?  Your help is greatly appreciated.  (TheGeekGirl yep I'm a girl )

You "may " have a problem.

1. On the router, do a clear counters. we need to establish a time line and see what happens over the next 12/24 hours.

2. Double check the settings on the firewall attached to both interfaces, make sure speed and duplex match. You can do       this without messing up the results of item #1.

3. The CRC errors on FE 0/0 are generally the result of a hardware failure. I would at a minimum plan on swapping the

    cable out. if possible, finish test #1 first. if you do swap the cable, then restart test 1 from that point.

4. Its also possible that there are issues with either the firewall ethernet interface or the router.

Hello!

1.     I cleared the counters.  The output below is for 10 hours.

2.     I have checked my cables.  They are all good.

4.     Speed and duplex match.

5.     There is no firewall involved.

6.     I still have a lot of CRC errors.

7.     This is a router.

Any thought about where I should do next?

Wow.  Look at your CRC errors GO!

What's connected to the router?  Can you enable auto-negotiation of the speed and duplex?

So, this router is connected to 2 firewalls (inside and outside)?  If yes, what is the speed and duplex on the firewall side of the connections?

What type of firewall?
