Cisco 2811 Port status logging

Is there any way to log when a Dialer interface connects and disconnectes to a file located on the CF card in the 2811 router?  Using a syslog server is not an option on my network.

What I am looking for is to find out when the interface connects and disconnects and would like to include the date and time.

Link up/down messages are sent to the log in the router.

There are a variety of syslog capturing tools on the market.

In addition, you can use SNMP to trap on link up/down events.

THis is the guide from a switch, but its essentially the same as your 2811
