Cisco 3660 Router

We have a Cisco 3660 Router with 3 E1 Cards installed of which 2 are NM-2CE1T1-PRI and 1 PRI2CE1B, when we are typing the command "card type E1 2/0" the IOS is giving the following error "% Urecongnized Command" also it is continously giving the following error on console "Controller E1 1/0 firmwire is not running". the IOS installed is c3660-ik9s-mz.123-15b.bin, please help us to resolve this issue is there any problem with the hardware of the Router.

Never used a command like "card type E1 2/0".

However, I have found the error message "Controller E1 1/0 firmwire is not running" is mostly due to a defective module.

Hi,

I think the command is "card type e1 slot_number" i.e. "card type e1 2" then "controller e1 slot_number/port_number" i.e. "controller e1 2/0"

12.3 and 12.3T supports the two modules but I'm not sure if "IP Plus IPSEC 3DES" supports E1 because the error "Controller E1 1/0 firmwire is not running" is either not support by IOS or hardware problem. I'll try to check it.
