Forgot to mention, pre.

You open a TAC Case on the serial number of your appliance.  Cisco will then send you the replacement part.

Show them the output to the command "sh env status" and this is more than enough.

You will need to open a TAC Case to RMA the fan assembly.  When the fan assembly arrives, it will also include (hopefully) a detailed instruction on how to replace it.

leo,

salamat pre!

have you previously encountered this issue? are you able to share the instructions for fan installation?

i also noticed PSU2 is not detected. 'asbent' on show envi and blank on show inv.

is this for RMA as well? do these envi logs related to the PSU issue?

Pre!

I have replaced faulty fan assemblies with 2800.  The ISR G1/G2 are suppose to have modular parts so you don't have to RMA the complete unit (higher costs to Cisco).

HI ..

I got an alarm on one of our 3945 router. So please let me know what is the replacement part fan try or whole chassis ....?

(Note:- have using to CISCO3945-CHASSIS)

Hi John,

As per the error you ned to replace the complete Fan tray i dout about single Fan replacemnet below are the part number whihc you can order depending on you Devices,

3900-FANASSY=   (Cisco 3925/3945 Fan Assembly (Bezel included))

3900-FANASSY-NEBS= Cisco 3925/3945 Fan Assembly for NEBS (w/3900-FANFLTR-NEBS)

For changing config register to 0x2102 won't have any impact on production but it will require reload for applying the new config register vlaue.

Hope this answers your query
