Cisco 7600 Product Help

Hi i've been doing a fair amount of reading about this platform but one thing has been a bit vague and that is what exactly is required to support VPDNs on the platform.

I believe I need a chassis and a Supervisor Engine at the very minimum. Will a supervisor 720 allow me to terminate VPDN sessions or do I need some other module MWAM??

If I can do just with the SUP720 how are things like the FlexWAN module configured? Do they run their own IOS image and configured via their own command line?

Anyone out there with 7600 experience would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

the 6500/7600 are high-end devices complex to configure. You should seek advice from your local cisco office or a qualified partner when planning a purchase.

To answer your question, no the supervisor alone would not allow you to terminate VPDN.
