Re: Cisco 7609 TFTP Problem

Hi

AFAIK theres a limitation with TFTP involving large file size uploads (whichs more than 16MB).

Better you try out with FTP for uploading the same onto the box instead with TFTP..

Re: Cisco 7609 TFTP Problem

As file sizes get bigger (especially as they get >16 MB) there are reasons to consider using FTP instead of TFTP as Edwin has pointed out. One of those reasons is that the file transfer is quicker and more efficient using FTP than it is using TFTP.

But many people are used to using TFTP and want to continue to use it. In that case I would suggest that there are a number of TFTP implememtations which support large file sizes. In particular I hear many good things about tftpd32 (see tftpd32.jounin.net).
