I have this 871 series router and have lost the IOS image on flash. How do I get another image on the router as it is on ROMMON now. I tried xmodem and also tried copy the IOS through the USB port, still no success.
If an error apears when trying xmodem the transfer is terminated, and an error message is displayed. If you have changed the baud rate from the default rate, the error message is followed by a message telling you to restore the terminal to the baud rate specified in the configuration register.
