Cisco 897VAW-E-K9 No VPN capability

Hi,

It appears that I have either bought the wrong product or there is an issue. I ipsec command are not available and in CCP, I get an error that the feature is not installed or licensed when I click on any type of VPN.

According to https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/9923001/871-difference-between-advipservices-and-advsecurity-ios I have the wrong license. The router is running advipservices_npe and I need advsecurity for VPN functionality.

How does one "change" the license to enable the VPN features?

An output of show license:

You could tryconf tlicense

You could try

conf t

license boot level advsecurity_npe

then possibly

license accept end user agreement

Save the config and you will be required to perform a restart.
