Hi,
We are planning to connect site A and site B through metro ethernet (ethernet for WAN connectivity). Was wondering can we use HWIC-4ESW cards?

Sai,
You certainly can use these cards for that purpose. However, you need to be aware of some limitations associated with the card, such as the fact that you can't use them as routed ports, as you can with the Etherswitch Network Modules.
But if that is not what you are after, then they should be fine.
