Cisco Router 2951 hang issue

Hi Team, We had Cisco 2951 Router installed at the Customer site and reported hang issue. Then taken show tech for this Router to check the exact cause, the IOS impact or any Hardware related indication with logs. Running image details as below, Description: UNIVERSAL Release: 15.1.4M8 Release Date: 25/Mar/2014 File Name: c2951-universalk9-mz.SPA.151-4.M8.bin Min Memory: DRAM 512 MB Flash 256 MB Need to suggest us the reason for this Router issue and the resolution step to take for this case. Thanks for taking show tech during time of issue.

 

I see CPU is very high which is 96% and 94% is due to interrupts. High cpu due to interrupts mainly happens due to incoming traffic  and features applied on the interface. 

 

I also see access-list "ACL-IN" is applied on interface Gig0/1. This ACL is having 5674 entries, which is really very high. You can try to optimize it in a better way and for time being you can try to remove this ACL and check if it helps to minimize the CPU.
