Hi All

Directory of flash:/

1 -rw- 1680 <no date> startup-config

8388608 bytes total (8386864 bytes free)

router827#dir nvram:

Directory of nvram:/

125 -rw- 1680 <no date> startup-config

126 ---- 5 <no date> private-config

I am scared to power cycle the unit for obvious reasons. Can someone tell me if i have deleted it and what i should do now to repair the ios.

Dom,

I am afraid you don't have an IOS image on the flash. But, the good thing is, the process to copy an IOS to the flash is easy as the router is functioning with a copy of the old image from the DRAM.

Use this link to copy the image from a TFTP to the flash.

IOS file seems to be missing. Don't power cycle the unit. Download a current version from CCO.
