Wanted to use 2821 with DS3 module as Internet router to terminate 45Meg DS3 line. Will run EBGP with carrier for only default route. Is 2821 is good enough for that..?
2821 might be just a bit too little to fully drive a DS3. Although Cisco recommends the 3845, from experience 3825 usually also works well for a DS3. From router specs, I suspect 2851 might do.
