cisco3660 ospf get hung after link flapping

Hi All ,

LINKS FLAPPING FOR FEW MINUTES DAILY ONCE or twice , OSPF gets hung  .

issue get resolved after CLEARING THE IP OSPF PROCESS  .

OSPF configuration  -

router ospf 100
log-adjacency-changes
area 8 range 172.x.x.x 255.255.128.0
redistribute static metric-type 1 subnets
network 172.x.x.x 0.0.0.3 area 0
network 172.x.x.0 0.0.3.255 area 8
network 172.x.5.240 0.0.0.3 area 8
network 172.x.5.248 0.0.0.7 area 8
network 192.168.246.x 0.0.0.0 area 8

I understand due to link flap multiple times ospf get flapped , but it sud come up automatically after links get up and stable .Do i need to set keep alive both side in ospf configuration ..

Please suggest ..

Hi!

If you do:

show ip ospf neighbor

while you think your OSPF  process is stuck, what do you see under State column?

Maybe you can give us some more details.
