Clarification on E1 CSU/DSU, V.35

I am familiar with serial V.35 interfaces. To this date I have seen them as pin-out type of interface.

Now in one site, an member of the IT staff  tells me that a router has CSU/DSU (RJ-45 connector). However, future "PTT handoff type" to be delivered came specified on a document as "V.35".

Should I expect to use a converter to get from the RJ-45 to the "PTT handoff V.35"?

If Service Provider states that V.35 is the handoff interface, should the provider normally provide tthe converter for me?
