I have 2 Areas running CLNS ISIS, say Area 1 and Area 2. Can the specific address in the database of area 1 router be seen at routers in area 2 ? or the routers in area 2 just see a prefix for the net in area 1 instead of the specific address ?
You will only see the area addresses for each area in the other area, and not specific addresses. That is part of the summarisation done by L2 routers.
