Re: Command ifindex on 7500

Hello Erick,

on a c7500 we have it is

sh snmp mib ifmib ifindex ?

Ethernet IEEE 802.3

FastEthernet FastEthernet IEEE 802.3

GigabitEthernet GigabitEthernet (IEEE 802.3z)

Loopback Loopback interface

Null Null interface

POS Packet over Sonet

Serial Serial

Tunnel Tunnel interface

unfortunately you need to specify the exact interface name and number

sh snmp mib ifmib ifindex loop5

Interface = Loopback5, Ifindex = 27

We are running slot0:rsp-k4pv-mz.120-32.S6.bin on it

Hope to help

Giuseppe
