Commands not shows via ssh - ASR9K

Hello,

I have a ASR9K with version  mbiasr9k-rp.vm. When he run a command show log, dir or other command via ssh not shows the logs. If he run via console, the commands appear.

Anyone know why it´s occurring?

I don't expect there is an issue with the router, can you check this using a different client?

Hi Amjad,

I´m sorry for delay. I opened a TAC case and this problem is related a bug CSCte01589.

Bugs: CSCte01589    Unable to execute commands through telnet/ssh session

Resolution Steps: I restarted the devc-vty process on from the console of the router to recover from this issue.

Resolution Summary:

This is a known bug that is not fixed until 3.9.2 and 4.0.0 and higher.

Here is the bug for this problem.  It's fixed in 3.9.2 and 4.0.0 and higher.

CSCte01589    Unable to execute commands through telnet/ssh session

Symptom:

telnet/ssh to the router prints incomplete output and then hangs. It does not respond to "ENTER". It may respond to CTRL-C but this does not restore a complete correct behavior.

Conditions:

This happens after multiple VTY sessions being opened and closed at the same time, or after a session has been terminated while still receiving output.

Workaround:

  Using "terminal length 0" is a partial workaround.

Recovery:

  Create a new telnet/ssh session. FIRST command to execute from this session is  "proc restart devc-vty". 

  OR

  Connect to the router through a Console  port
