Hi,

Are the compression modules like AIM-COMPR4 and AIM-COMPR-V2 used only for WAN interfaces?

Can we use them for Ethernet interfaces?

Thanks,

Taha

No.

Compression in LAN environments doesn't make sense.

However, if you want a media-independent compression solution, use IPsec. Cisco routers can compress data using the LZS algorithm.
