Hi,
Are the compression modules like AIM-COMPR4 and AIM-COMPR-V2 used only for WAN interfaces?
Can we use them for Ethernet interfaces?

No.
Compression in LAN environments doesn't make sense.
However, if you want a media-independent compression solution, use IPsec. Cisco routers can compress data using the LZS algorithm.
