Compression on Internet Link

Hi All,

I have Internet link and I want whether can we configure any compression on that so that I can use it more effectively. If it can then when for de-compression we need to configure something at the receving end.

Hello Suresh,

any type of compression requires the involvment of both ends of the link.

Other options you should investigate include:

the usage of Web Caches

a QoS implementation to provide better treatment for important traffic

and also a link upgrade (more bandwidth)
