concerned with product code of cisco 2921 ISR G2

Hi All.

We received the BOM of new device specification regarding new branch office installation project.

most of those were normal except below two iterms,

RPS-ADPTR-2911 : this hardware is depicted as 'Cisco 2921/2951 RPS adapter for use with External RPS',

Is this parts embedded in Cisco 2921? else, present with saperated parts so that we can plug into new router likewise HWIC?

another one is regardiong software feature that the s/w feature was procurred with 'SL-29-IPB-K9'.

is this IOS feature set can support full feature of BGP routing protocol?

Pls, answer above two, and get back to me if you are able to give me some piece of information.

SL-29-IPB-K9 is IP Base license for the 2900 router. If you want to host a full BGP routing table, then you'll need SL-29-DATA-K9.

For your router, make sure you have MORE THAN 512 mb of DRAM. If you can load 2 Gb of DRAM then so much the better.

The choice of what model of router is based upon your bandwidth. Go HERE and refer to Table 1. Be aware that the quoted "bandwidth" is expressed in one-way-traffic and no encryption.
