config T1 on a IAD 2430

I'm missing something - when I go to configure the T1 port using the Controller t1/e1 1/0 command, it isn't listed as a command and I'm not seeing anything that would put me in Router (config-ctrl)# command line. Any ideas?

if you truly have a configurable controller, see if it is shown in the "show version" command. this will show all devices the IOS has seen on bootup.

you can also do a "show controller" command to see all controllers IOS knows of.

if this is a simple T1 with CSU/DSU, use the serial interface to configure.
