Configure a fax machine to work with Cisco 3845 gateway
I would like some assistance on how to get a fax machine to work with our Cisco gateway. I have never worked with this appliance and would appreciate if someone has step-by-step direction on how I can get a fax machine to work. I am using the Cisco Unified CM Administration to manage and am able to assign a MAC address, but the fax does not get an IP.
Is setting up a fax the same as adding a new voip phone into the Cisco Unified CM Administration console and it will get an IP from the gateway?
If additional information is needed, please advise.
