Configure RIP v2 with VLSM?

Say I have a network 10.10.10.64 /29...what should my "network" statement look like in a RIP v2 configuration?

network 10.10.10.64

right?

Re: Configure RIP v2 with VLSM?

That's correct. RIPv2 will pick up the mask from the interface associated wit that network address.

Good Luck

I have the same problem with setting VLSM under RIPV2, even we set rip version 2 and no-auto summary , the route  is route is advertised without subnet mask , router will not pick up the mask from interface.

You can enter 10.10.10.64 or 10.0.0.0 it's exactly the same thing. Try it and then do a show run and you will see 10.0.0.0 there. If you enter 10.10.10.64 the ios will convert it to 10.0.0.0 You see, the network statement has nothing to do with VLSM. The network statement has two functions which are activate the interfaces (in this case all interfaces configured on the major network 10.0.0.0) and announce all networks in the 10.0.0.0 major network. If you forget to put in the "no auto-summary" command it will send only the major network/mask (in this case 10.0.0.0/8), so watch out for that. With RIPv1 or v2 you don't have an option choose which interfaces are activated or which subnets are announced; with RIPng you can do that.
