Configuring an already configured Cisco 2950 Catalyst and 3750

Maybe a simple question. We have two networks with the use of a VLAN. The idea is to bring the networks together. However all extra cables of the switches are missing and I was wondering what ways do I have at my disposal to reconfigure the switches. IS it possible with an RJ45 to RJ45 cable which I can make myself? And how would I communicate with the switch once I have this setup?

Do you have these switches connected together rt now? In order to communicate between these switches and vlans you have to do the following:

1.Connect the switch using cross over cable:

To connect these two switches you have to make a cross-over cable.You can make it using Rj-45 cable.Please see the link below:

2. Connect a console cable to the switch and access it using the hyper-terminal:

Hi and thank you for answering. We actually already have all tehse switches configured in a VLAN

So teh approximately 10 switches are already configured. Unfortunately this system is undocumented which means the last sytemsadministrator doesn't know where the console cable is. Any way of making one?

And after I do this and connected teh console cable how do I reprogram the ports?

Are you able to telnet to at least one of these switches. If so, you could then use the command "show cdp neighbours detail" to see if you can get information on each switch in turn.
