Connecting 2 Cisco 2960s with SFP

Hi All,

  Recently, I am going to connect 2 Cisco 2960s with Fibre at different floors. Do it need any configuration for connecting 2 switch with fibre and SFP module?

Will other be multiple vlans that we be used on these switches?

Thanks for your quick reply. For my network diagram, is that I will create a VLAN as an external switch to connect between the external router and the firewall. For the rest of switch will share same VLAN for client connection.

Hello

Give each switch an svi interface and default-gateway (for management purposes)
Trunk interface between the two switches to carry the vlans.

thanks for your reply. Sorry for my limited knowledge, may I ask more about svi interface? And even my client connection share same default VLAN. It is also needed to trunk the SFP port?
