Connecting Aux-port of Cisco-router to con-port of 2950-switch

I want to create a back-to-back connection from the aux-port of a router to con-port of a switch. This seems to work for 2500 and 4000 routers. telner from the router to the switch using IP-address of the router and port 2001 connects me to the switch. However this does not seem to work for a 2600-router.

Has anything changed to the port-numbers that should be used for such a connection?

On the 2600 the aux port is line 65 rather than line 1 as it is on the 2500 and 4000 platforms. You need to telnet to port 2065 instead of 2001.
