copy and paste action is which type traffic

Hi,all

thanks in advance to all expert

Pls explain me if i copy and paste mpeg file of one 790 mb from local network to remote network acros the wan network .is this a udp traffic or tcp traffic?and what type of proccess happend at that time?

Hi,

If you're referring to copying a file from one location to another on a Windows network, then you're going to be using SMB (Server Message Block), which is a protocol which runs on TCP, and uses port 445.
