Copying Running Config to a Router with Later IOS Version

Can I copy a saved running config from the 804 series router running 12.1 IOS to another 804 series running 12.2-and it works?

Yes it will work fine. Also you are going from lower code to higher code so mostly all the commands will be supported.

Hi,

yes it will work, just make sure you have the same IOS feature set. The only issue could be with IOS bugs present in the new version - not likely, but possible.
