Anyone have any idea or know the documentation for what this error means?

It says "contact the remote peer". I hope she's a lady so I can ask her for a date :)

Update:

Well, I turn ON debugging and now I see more info about what could be the problem. After fixing it, the VPN is up now without error. However everybody is sleeping now, we will test it tomorrow and if there's more problem I will follow up this post.

Hello,

The remote peer is not unlikely to be (operated by) a lady. But watch out! Although the recommended action was what you quoted, the explanation for the message suggests your issue was due to failure of negotiation with the remote peer :-)
