I have a school district with 6 grade schools that all connect to a Jr. High in a hub and spoke configuration over SM fiber. The district wants to add redundant links with PIX 506's and VPN over ADSL. Each school has a 3560 using RIP V.2, so the plan is to plug the PIX into an empty ethernet port and put in a floating static route so that if the fiber goes down the RIP route flushes and the static takes over. What's the simplest configuration to connect the PIX to the 3560?
