Delete old loopback address in VRF

We had an old VRF with IPA that were not using. We have re-enabled and created with a new loopback address IPB (with IPA don't permit). Everything works perfectly, but the IPA still appears in the routing table of that VRF in the rest of PEs.
We need to know: why this is happening?, how can we fix it?

Re: Delete old loopback address in VRF

Hello Slandeira,

for sure if you reload the misbehaving PE node you should be fine.

but before doing that I would try

clear ip route vrf VRF-name *

note:  the loopback has been associated to a different VRF or you only have changed its IP address?

Hope to help

Re: Delete old loopback address in VRF

Hello,

Thank you for your answer.

The IP does not appear in the computer node to below:
sh ip route vrf IPA
% Subnet not in table

We only change the IP, the vrf is the same.

Thank you.

Re: Delete old loopback address in VRF

Hello Slandeira,

but do your see the old ip address in the sh ip route vrf VRF-name in the other PE nodes or over an SNMP managed tool?

have you tried to perform the clear ip route vrf VRF-name * on that PE node?

Hope to help

Giuseppe
