Hi
Does anyone know a good command to determine the clock speed on a serial circuit?
Show controllers sometimes gives it, but on some routers it doesn't....
Thanks

The only way I know to get the clock speed is the show controller serial command. And as you point out sometimes the clock speed is given and sometimes it is not.

DEar Zaqvi,
The clock speed u can find by running show controller serial command .This command gives output as REceived Clockrate .
but this command gives output i.e. Received Clockrate only from 7200 series onwards .
If we run same command on 3700/1800/2800, we do not get output as Received Clockrate.
