Re: DHCP issue with windows 7 machines

Cyril,

1. Please check for the dhcp service in your Win 7 hosts.

2. Please disable any antivirus on the host and check the same.

happened to read that lot of ppl face this issue..-:)

Re: DHCP issue with windows 7 machines

hi

i checked both the things no response,

we need to change on cisco routerside like update IOS or any config changes

Re: DHCP issue with windows 7 machines

I really dont think so you need to do anything on the IOS !

Morover its working great for your other hosts right ?

Can we sniff or SPAN on the switch and see the frames/packets to and fro ?

Are you using a firewall in your internal network ?

I just googled this up and saw people facing similar problems.

Wierd and shame behaviour of microsoft boxes !
