Dialer Persistent on 3521 MARC

I'm currenty having trouble with a dialer interface on our Mobile Access Router.

The interface is configured to negotiate an IP address over PPP via IPCP, with the 'dialer persistent' command in order to keep the link up. The connection to the ISP is via a GPRS/3G card modem and Layer 2 tunnel.

The problem is that when the link is re-established after a loss of signal, no IP address is assigned to the dialer interface.

The attached file shows the debug output during IPCP negotiation.

It looks like IPCP isn't requesting an IP address when the connection is re-established. 'ppp ipcp address accept' is included in the dialer config. Manually shutting down and then bringing up the interface always cures the problem.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Matt

Can you configure 'dialer persistent delay initial 60' this is going to wait for say 60 seconds after the command is parsed (bootup or configured for the first time) and also 'dialer persistent delay 30' This way we can try and isolate the issues.
