Dialer-Watch : Malfunctions

Hi,

We have configured dialer watch using ISDN dial on demand routing as a backup for serial link. But surprisingly many times we have found that, even though the newtwork which we are watching in dialer watch is available in routing table, isdn triggres and stays connected for dialer-idle time out period.

Has any one faced the problem if yes please share , definitely appreciate it. any idea about debugging the problem any web-link on troubleshooting this problem.

Hi Subodh,

Can you check what is the source and destination causing isdn to trigger. You can find this by using the command "show dialer". Plz check if the destination showing up in "show dialer" exists in your routing table. Thanks!
