Difference between advertise-map and inject map in BGP

Hi,

Can some one explain me the differnce between Advertise-map and Inject map in BGP. Would be of more help if explained with a scenario or some documents which explains in depth.

Hi,

An advertise-map is used in Conditional Advertisement in BGP. It is used to manipulate routing taking into account conditions like if one prefix exist or not in the BGP table, it will advertise another prefix.

An inject-map is used in Conditional Route Injection in BGP. It is used for de-aggregation, allowing to inject more specific prefixes from an aggregate or just a less specific prefix.
