Difference between PA-MC-8E1/120 port adapters / PA-MC-8TE1+

Hi all

i have small confusion of buying the modules

i have 7200 VXR with NPE 300

at this moment my telco giving me all G 703 with Modem converter to V.35

now they planning to shift E1's

and factional E1 for less than 2MB

like 64/128/256 like...

so iam confused which module i should buy

what is the difference

thanks, if any one can help me

The PA-MC-8E1/120 is end of life replaced with PA-MC-8TE1+

Hi

With PA-MC-8TE1+ card you can have fractional E1s configured based on the time slots alloted from the TELCO Side.

We do have those cards in place and working fine for fractional as well as full E1 pipes..

with this card (part no. 73-2543-07) , we can configure max. of 127 times slots . After we configure ,4 E1 controllers by giviing command pri-group timeslots 1-31 and when we try to configure controller 5 , the message will come Insufficient resources to create pri-gorup.

Hence, u need to enter command pri-group timeslots 1-3.
