Disabling of dDEF Results in Linecard becoming disabled
We have a problem with a linecard on our Cisco 12000 router being disabled when we attempt to upgrade the router to IOS 12.0.32SY14.
We are an ISP and we understand that the issue is about dDEF being disabled. We also are aware that the minimum requirement for the upgrade is 128MB on our linecard. We now have 512MB installed on the linecard.
My question is is there anything else other than upgrading our memory to 512MB that may be required to ensure that the next time we upgrade the card won't again be disabled? For example, would I need to change the current configuration from
ip cef linecard ipc memory 128000 to ip cef linecard ipc memory 512000?
