Have an existing ATM network. Looking to add another WAN link that we can do DMVPN mesh network with the other branches. There are a total of 8 branches. What would be the ISR recommendation for the branches? Comparing the 1841 and the 2811. Is the AIM-VPN recommended and the AIM-ATM? Is the AIM-ATM supported in the 1841? Please confirm that the AIM-ATM is required to run ATM on an ISR.
Hi, yes the AIM-ATM is always needed to run ATM on an ISR.
The right router can be determined knowing the circuit speed, expected traffic volume and features desired, so you may want to clarify on that.
